A Word About Motherhood

Mother’s Day Edition Newsletter

Grace and Peace,

I bring you greetings from The Spiritual House of the Lord — a small building, yes, but one that houses faithful believers and broadcasts the Word of God to multiple states across the U.S. and nations around the world. I give honor to God, who is the head of my life, and to His Son, for whom I prepare daily — seeking to present myself without spot or wrinkle.

Today, we pause to acknowledge and uplift one of God’s most sacred gifts: Motherhood. I thank God for every mother across the globe and especially those in the house today. Let’s give a resounding round of applause for your sacrifice, strength, and service to the world.

🌱 Babes into Mothers: A Spiritual Path

We enter the faith as babes in Christsaplings, fragile and in need of nourishment. But as we grow in truth, we are called to mature into wives, into mothers — to become spotless and reckless in our pursuit of Christ, who is the Husband, the Author, and the Finisher of our faith.

This is more than a metaphor — it is a spiritual reality.

To walk with Christ is to grow in grace until we reflect the character of a spiritual mother: nurturing, sacrificing, covering, and birthing new life in others. We are being prepared for union with Christ, and that preparation looks like maturity — the kind that can carry, cover, and care.

A mother doesn’t just give birth; she builds.
A wife doesn’t just stand by; she sanctifies.
And a believer doesn’t just receive the Word; she lives it.

🏠 The Teaching of Apostle Estella G. Hudson

Here at The Spiritual House of the Lord, we are blessed by the revelatory teaching of Apostle Estella G. Hudson — who breaks down the spiritual house within using physical truth from the Bible.

She teaches us how the natural birth process mirrors the spiritual birthing process:

  • Conception begins in the mind.

  • Gestation happens in the heart.

  • Delivery requires faith, obedience, and pain.

Just as a woman carries a child, we are called to carry the Word — allowing it to form in us until we bring forth the fruit of righteousness. Apostle Estella teaches in bite-sized truths, equipping the saints to mature in wisdom without spiritual indigestion.

When we miss those truths — when we rush past them or fail to digest them — we hinder our own spiritual growth.

📖 The Word in Season: Hebrews → James

In her most recent teachings, Apostle Estella walked us through Hebrews 12, reminding us that chastisement is a sign of sonship. She emphasized how God corrects those He loves, preparing us for the inheritance.

And now, we are entering James 1, where we are told:

"Count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations, knowing this: the trying of your faith worketh patience..."

Patience matures us. It doesn’t come from comfort — it comes from trials.
From trials, we receive perseverance.
From perseverance, we receive the crown of life.

This process is exactly what a mother endures. This is why we must be like mother in the spirit.

🧬 Understanding Our DNA

Apostle Estella also laid out how our spiritual DNA is not merely inherited by bloodline, but by covenant. Like Jacob and Esau, we may be twins by birth but not by purpose. The birthright is not just given — it is discerned and walked into.

Our inner house must be cleaned, built up, and aligned with God’s Word — brick by brick, from the foundation of faith to the roof of wisdom and revelation.

🙏🏾 Final Word: The Call to Be Like Mother

So today, I challenge you:

  • Be like the mother who covers her child even in pain.

  • Be like the wife who prepares herself without spot or wrinkle.

  • Be like the believer who labors until Christ is formed in others.

Don’t despise the trials. They are stretch marks of the Spirit — proof that something holy is being birthed in you.

To all the mothers — spiritual and natural — we honor you.
To all the men, I encourage you to embrace this same calling — to nurture, to protect, to persevere.
To every believer, grow up in your faith, and become a spiritual house that glorifies God.
